I mentioned a few days ago about I shoot I had that I was really excited about. I still want to edit a few more photos from the shoot but I ought to share this one for now. His name is Tod Ainslie and he was my photography teacher when I was in grade 10 and 11. He is a unique individual and it was nothing but inspiring to get to hang out and shoot him. When I post the rest of the shots, I’ll share more thoughts.

Right when I started this blog, there was some photos of a great band called Damiera put up. Last night I found on of the newest members of said band has a side project where he writes a song a week. I’m really into it. It’s like a chilled out Piebald, like Piebald playing Death Cab songs or something. Take a listen – www.intoitoverit.com

Mass overload of work right now but here is a photo I took at a recent portrait shoot while the subject was on the phone. Probably one of my favourite shoots this year and I’ve had some great ones. Funny that a lot of photographers often are chasing a bigger name as they work up from random cool people to A-listers, and not to say there isn’t people I’d love to shoot, but the most rewarding portraits I’ve ever taken have all been of the most random people with much more unique stories than hit TV shows.
