Shooting portraits of good friends for no real reason other than to remember times of your life is a great thing.

Finally had a chance to post some of the photos from the Ti-Cats home opener. More after the jump.
You know that big shot of a face a couple posts down? Here is a few more from that shoot. It was a musical duo called Two Crown King. I picked some photos that were a bit different from their final choices for press to keep things interesting. Check out their myspace (LINK) and such for more stuff (and music obviously).

I forget when I took this. It was sometime in the last few months though. 50th post on this blog!

If you haven’t already seen my photo project from last year. Please go look – www.wearesleepinggiants.com
It is based around the atmosphere of summer nights, which we’re in the middle of right now and I wish I was still shooting for this! On top of having the photos, Justin from Everlea recorded an over the top amazing cover of Recover’s ‘Night of the Creeps’ that really completes the series.
Here is an alternative shot to one of the photos in the series. I love the light burst but felt it was more important to establish that it was a flashlight in the shot.

Screen grabs from the Everlea video. Editing started last night. Now accepting energy drink donations.

Oh and a little video teaser from the band. I love watching these things.
Shot from a shoot I’m working on. When this is done I probably should read through my blog and post all the things I said were coming soon then forgot to post when I was working on something else new.

First CFL day of the season. The Ti-Cats lost (surprise!) but it was a pretty good game (that means there was fights and intensity – I know nothing about the sport). Working on all the pics now after a little library stop to flip through like four Leibovitz books and one Bresson. They need some Newman up in there.
