The sweet dudes in Circa Survive & Silverstein have helped me out in putting together a couple auctions to help in on going relief efforts of Haiti. If you’re a fan of either band, the packages are pretty sweet and I’d certainly advise you to take a look. Circa Survive’s can be seen HERE and Silverstein’s can be seen HERE. Shoot me an email if you have any questions or anything. Please help spread the word especially if you know someone who is really into these bands! Here is a quick pic I took of Silverstein holding all the stuff before they took off for their current tour.

A friend of a friend, Timbre, was recording some of her harp parts for her new record when I was in Nashville a few weeks ago. We stopped by the studio and hung out for a while. Here are some of those photos. Tomorrow I’ll post some photos where I stuck a light up in the ceiling.

Here are a couple more shots from a recent portrait shoot with Jackie Musial. Check out her art HERE or in Mountains. Thanks to Jenni Pleau for doing Jackie’s make up and thanks to Nick @ Envoke for letting us use his space.

Jason and I have been friends basically since I started photography. He was a big part of a band that I used to shoot all the time called Rosesdead. Their record Stages is still something I listen to on a regular basis. Now he is taking up design full time and of course is the man beyond the slick looks of Mountains.

This wonderful dude let me crash at his place in Birmingham both on my way South and again on my way back up North. On the second time through, I had to shoot a picture on the front porch. In a house full of creatives, cool stuff tends to get collected. We used Alex’s roommates neon lights that he grabbed from a closing sandwich shop and worked on lighting while it lightly hailed on the other side of the porch screen. Alex does some great graphic design that I’ll be sure to link up as his new portfolio gets done.

If you own Mountains, you remember these dudes. They back it.

A little update from the road! Currently near New Orleans. Here are a few really quick edits from Circa Survive in San Antonio the other night. Such a good show. Anthony played some acoustic songs for all the kids outside before and after the show. I stood on the roof of my van and shot the last photo below. Great night.

I meant to have more of these shots done but computer failure stood in the way of that. Now I’m about to head south on a little road trip so I’ll get this up here for now. Incredible artist Jackie Musial hung out and shot some photos above the space of Envoke in Dundas last weekend. Thanks to Jenni Pleau for make up, I’ll get some shots up that show more of that in time.
