Here is a shot from a recent promotional shoot for a new band from Barrie, Ontario called The Afterimage.

After several delays I’m now allowed to share my video for Justin Dube’s new single You Won’t Be Alone. This was filmed in the second half of last summer over a few scattered days. Thanks to all that were involved, I’m truly proud of this!

My studio is in a huge building that was built as a cotton mill in 1900. There is a wide range of people in the space and I’ve started to shoot photos a bunch of them in their space. For a different sort of feel from the majority of my photography, I thought it’d be fun to shoot these on large format film, scan them and post them as is. Here are the first two from the series Jason Freiburger and Leslie Sasaki.

I’ve started shooting 4×5 film on certain shoots. Usually just one or two frames that I eventually get developed and recently got a few frames scanned. Here is a piece of film that ran into some trouble. It was on a reshoot of a personal idea I knew I could do better than the first time around and I wanted to try some 4×5 at the same time. It was one of my first shoots with the large format camera and I couldn’t get the flashes to sync (problem since solved). Also, I may not have loaded the film right and the dark slide jammed after I exposed the film. Anyway through all of that, I still like the shot for some reason. I’ll put up final digital photo which I’ll put up soon.
