Let’s keep this train rolling. So much work to get to!

With some new goodies to show. Sorry about the laptop edit. I’ll get this primed up soon!
(EDIT – Slightly fixed with a quick re-edit on my desktop)

Just a couple pictures from walking around today. I’ll add more soon but I’m going to watch the behind the scenes of Bottle Rocket now. Daniel Bray and Stanley Park.

I guess this as good of a time to shoot you over to my wedding site – www.vowtoremember.com. On top of all the stuff I shoot and show on this site, I manage to shoot some pretty cool couples tying the knot from time to time too. I’ll actually be in Vancouver shooting a wedding this Saturday and then some personal stuff for a couple days after that. Here is a shot of Chris and Sarah that are getting married in June. There is a couple shots from this shoot on my other blog.

Here are a few of many photos I took for The Reason recently. Nice little small show with all their friends in the front row singing and dancing. Fun times.

Much of my life is spent here so I figured I’d share a bit of that with you guys with important things to note in each photo. Above is the standard desk view. Monster energy drink (sponsor me?), countless to-do lists and an amazing issue of Colour are the note worthy objects.

Two photos for the size of one! On the left we have a hand screened poster from Fordirelifesake’s last show in Detroit last November with a Gordie Ball print framed beneath that. My window is also pretty glorious. On the right, there is a small stack of my go to ‘get stoked’ magazines. Corduroy is the best of all. Can’t wait for issue five which is out soon.

Another two-fer. The left is just a wider perspective of my life. I hate when my chair rolls of the mat. Incense on the bottom is very key for enjoyable days, pretty much hooked on that stuff. The right is just a whole assortment of goodies. Books, magazines and stuff from my life. You can kind of see a poster of TSE with my photo laying in the middle there and my open camera bag hiding in the shadows at the bottom.

What a nice space. It isn’t always this clean but I do try to keep it organized to keep my head on straight.

A little art. The Moneen poster will likely be replaced soon but the Day 19 print (thanks Jeremy and Claire) and the Obama/Fairy print (thanks JP) are a bit more permanent fixtures.

My ipod, polaroids from a recent wedding I shot, my matte cutter and my fan. That is all folks. Keep it simple and make sure your space is a catalyst for your creativity, not a damper.
While on my trip, I got to meet and shoot portraits of many amazing people. A little something special with all the photos is still in the works but you really ought to go check out my new friend Mel Kadel’s new site – www.melkadel.com - Such good stuff! Little taste below!

I hate Toronto.

The last time I was in Edmonton (about a year ago) I met one of these dudes so when they were in Toronto for Canadian Music Week they hit me up to get some photos done. I was crazy busy at the time but we still managed to get a good shoot in. I’m crazy busy now so maybe that is why I remembered to post something from the shoot. The Rescue this weekend! Scroll down if you don’t know what I’m talking about.

I have a list of things to do and it is two in the morning but I wanted to update this so I quickly looked for a photo and here one is! Taken just over a year ago in Paraguay. I loved how basic and simple everything looked. Very Kubrick-esque. Legit update soon.
