Around the stage of my life when I was just getting to becoming exposed to local bands, a friend of mine stuck his mini-disc player’s headphones on my head with the band Fordirelifesake playing. My initial impression was that there was too much going on but I quickly figured it out to become quite a big fan. After each member and had become involved in other projects and they had somewhat fading away, the band decided to do a proper last show in their hometown of Detroit. Myself and some friends went down to breathe in more second hand smoke than I had ever previously inhaled thanks to Michigan still letting people smoke in bars and the temperature freezing moist lips shut outside. Either way, the show was great, they played just about every song I could have wanted them to. They then got asked to play a bunch of shows in Japan and I sent them my photos to use for promotion of that. I never really did anything else with them. It was a year and a week ago today so what better time to post a few randoms from then.
