I spent about two weeks in BC, largely with my pal Jamie Tanner.  The main mission of the trip was to get out in the water and experiment with surf photography. As a complete novice and someone largely ignorant of the sport, I had my share of difficulties. All said and done, it was a great experience (even the almost dying part in retrospect) and lots was accomplished. My modus operandi was photography but I did film a few random clips whenever I would somehow remember. Here is a little taste of things to come in the distant future.
